Peaceful, quiet and safe are just a few of the many draws to this neighborhood. ## About JamuL   Jamul (pronounced ha-mool to locals) meaning “foam or lather” in the Native American Tipai Kumeyaay language is a small suburban community in San Diego.   Jamul has a population of 6,163 as of 2010 and was rated #13 best suburbs to raise a family in the San Diego area as per [niche.com](http://niche.com/).    ## Real Estate Market In Jamul    As of April 2019, the median list price for a home is $790,000.   Many of the properties offer privacy where you’re unlikely to see any neighbors do to the large parcels of land.
