If you didn’t already know. San Diego Beer Week is a unique and delicious beer and food event that celebrates the craft beer movement. The event spans the entire week showcasing products you can sample from the best of San Diego’s breweries and local chefs–all to your hearts content.
Craft beer is important in the sense that it gives everyone a chance to explore what beer can be. This week is an excellent opportunity to partake in the excitement and try something new.
The week-long event is filled with award winning breweries, entrepreneurial spirits of people pushing boundaries, and thousands of beers which you can try.
What makes the San Diego beer scene unique is a combination of old and new brewers. The latter takes pride in not adhering to the older methods, unbound by centuries of tradition which enables them to push the envelop of what’s possible with great tasting. beer. This unique blend of old and new makes San Diego the capital of craft beer.
Guild Fest is one of the best ways to experience Beer Week in San Diego with a kick-off festival taking place in a brand new location this year–Embarcadero South in Downtown San Diego.
Join the party and enjoy over 60 independent breweries celebrating and showcasing new and exciting features and delicious craft beer from San Diego and beyond.
Guild Fest General Admission Passes for 2018 can be purchased for $50 per adult giving you access to over 100 beers available for sampling and a commemorative tasting cup which you get to keep.
Food is also available for sale from local, craft beer-friendly restaurants and food trucks.
Festival entry is Saturday, November 3, 2018 at 2 PM and ends at 5 PM.
There are also VIP exclusive passes available which indulges a Cruise along the San Diego Bay runs from 11:30AM - 5:00PM, however tickets for this event is sold out this year.
If you missed out on The Guild Fest experience, you can still partake in The Beer Gardens. This is the official closing event for San Diego Beer Week and takes place at The Lodge at Torrey Pines. Here you’ll experience 28 breweries and 14 chefs all offering a unique and delicious food and beer pairing event.
General admission to The Beer Garden is $85 which gives you access to unlimited beer samples coupled with unlimited food samples from local restaurants.
And don’t worry, If you’re a designated driver, you only pay $50. This includes unlimited non-alcoholic beverages and food samples.
The Beer Garden runs from 12:00 PM to 3:00 PM, November 11th, 2019.
